Uri Davis, who was born in what is present-day Israel to Jewish parents and describes himself as “a Palestinian Hebrew national of Jewish origin, is an academic and human rights activist. He is the author of Israel: An Apartheid State(1987) and has been a long-standing advocate of “A one-state solution” to the ongoing conflict in that region.
In a wide-ranging interview he shares with Michael FitzGerald the journey he has embarked upon, which culminated in his recent election to the Revolutionary Council of Fatah (PLO).
