Fiona Moore of Dublin City Council spoke to Noel McGuinness on Northside Today on 6th October about events planned for Halloween and other northside news.

Ronnie O’Brien is speaking to Inez Bailey director of NALA, we join the programme as they are speaking about International Literacy Day, for ‘Northside Today’. Our final clip of the programme is from ‘Lifeline’, we join the show as Siobhan O’Hanlon is speaking to Minister Sean Haughey, about his ministerial role in relation to education and training for life.

On 10 October 2009, the Northside Civic Centre hosted a new debate ahead of the second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty. Cllr. Andrew Montegue (Labour), Gay Mitchell MEP (FG), Niamh Gallagher (Women for Europe) and Cllr. Julia Carmichael (FF) spoke is support of the Treaty. Asking for a ‘No’ vote were Roger Cole (Peace and Neutrality Alliance), Patricia McKenna (People’s Movement) and Mark Walsh (Campaign against an European Constitution).
