Dress Code in Islam
Following on from French President Sarkozy’s call for the burka to be banned in France, Summaya Kenna, of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Dublin, discusses the issue of dress codes within Islam with Michael FitzGerald on Northside2Day.
They progress to question whether such calls, however wel intentioned, fuel the anti-Islamic protests which recently took place in Birmingham and Harrow in the UK.
