The final episode encompasses the events leading up to the battle of Clontarf, some fictional cameos from the battle and the death of Brian and Brodir. Final part of the episode is a brief interview about the battle from local historian Dennis McIntyre.

This part covers Brian’s rise to power where he asserts dominance over other tribal kings and the sacking of Dublin. This gives an insight into the power struggles within Ireland at the time and how some were dealt with. This episode also contains a brief interview with Dr. Ruth Johnson about life in Dublin at the time of Brian Boru.
Brian Boru Part 2
This episode deals with some of the brotherly disputes between Brian and Mahon over tactics and political issues, the battle for Limerick and leading up to Mahon’s assassination. The final part is an interview about Vikings with the Norwegian Ambassador in Dublin: Oyvind Nordsletten.
