THE PROGRAMME TREE. Create a story or agree to deal with a real situation. In either event begin to lay out the details as part of a programme tree. Agree which parts are the leaves, which the trunk and which the roots. The first two can be part of a 'Journalism of Information', while the latter would form part of a 'Journalism of Explanation'. Use the paper provided to sketch in a rough tree like this one, and fill in as outlined. Select one member of the group to make a presentation. |
